Michel Lasne (Caen ca. 1590–1667, Paris), was a prodigious French engraver. He worked 1617-1620 under the direction of Peter Paul Rubens and Anthony van Dyck. In 1621 he was in Paris, becoming the official engraver for King Louis XIII. He engraved over 700 prints including many reproductive engravings after well-known painters.
