Qashqai nomads from South Persia.
Jajim is a type of kilim, flat weave, but made slightly differently.
It looks like a weaving chair, a small and narrow one that could easily be transported on a camel.
Rare kilim, also made on a weaving chair like all kilims, but using a very unique technique.
This gives it a beautiful colour scheme. Please see the detailed photos.
Made on a narrow weaving chair, in two parts, and then sewn together.
The colour fades were done using the special weaving technique.
See the close-up photos.
Sturdy and strong textile.
Pristine and original enges and ends.
