Andrei Mikhaliovich Lanskoy, also known as André Lanskoy, was a French painter from Russia, born in Moscow on March 31st, 1902 and died in 1976 in Paris. He was part of the School of Paris movement. He moved to Paris in 1921, and fully devoted himself to painting. Virtually self-taught, after a long figurative period, he gradually approached abstraction and had great admiration for the works of Klee and Kandinsky.

This piece probably dates from the 1960s or 1970s.
In fairly good condition: the image surface is perfect, yellowed margins, folds in the bottom left-hand corner, a little white spot in the right margin (see pictures), some creases which are little visible in the upper left-hand corner.
It will be shipped in a cardboard tube.
