Hanging clock with carving timepiece refers to the hour and 2 minutes past the hour - Wood - 19th century
Mechanical - 8 day movement - half hour, one gong

French wall clock.

The timepiece runs and strikes the number of hours every half and full hour + 2 minutes past the hour.

The dial is a bit worn (which is not annoying.) and is signed with A. Lemire A Roisel.

Clock has woodcuts on the front

The woodwork has some old holes on the back.

The clock shows signs of wear.
