The Kogatana is a small Japanese knife. One of the two sides is finished and polished, the other is usually rough.


Kozuka (or Kogatana).

These small weapons are carried by samurai, one on each side of the sheath of the katana or wakizashi, attached with two holes in the Tsuba, i.e. the guard.
