1910-1926, Germany
This lot of 15 "Chromoplast Bilder". These stereo pictures can be viewed with a stereoscope (not part of this lot). The first three series of 12 cards each were released in 1910-1911 by Hans Hildenbrand, photographer in Stuttgart. The Farbenphotographische Gesellschaft FPhG took over this business in September 1911. Until 1916, series 4 through 53 were released, each series containing 6 cards. In 1916, the company was acquired by Jacobs & Kosmehl in Berlin. The photo cards were now published by Chromoplast-Verlag (CV). For ten years, business went well. In 1926, the series stopped at No. 73. The cards are in good condition and only have traces of use at the edges and corners.
