Before KTM made SuperMoto models, they helped MuZ with their revival making modern bikes from 1997. In addition to the popular Scorpion, you also had the Baghira SuperMoto. You can find a nice clip on YouTube under ‘Mafketels’.
This SuperMoto rides well but never broke any sales records with its Yamaha XT 660 E block. Apparently it was still too early. KTM does prove at a later stage the idea was indeed a good one...
What can you do with it? A lot! Be a hooligan, for example. Straight ahead on a roundabout, as well as zigzagging between cars. Hence the text on the sides.
The Yamaha XT 660 E block (with MZ logo) has been completely rebuilt, de odometer reading actually means nothing. It has been driven a lot, but it always had the necessary maintenance. That HK sticker on the front fork is not there for nothing. The fork too was 'done'.
Meanwhile the original stainless steel 'Brotkasten' exhaust was re-assembled: quiet and civilized riding is also possible... This very good MuZ is one of several hundred built. A future classic and already an exotic one!
