Very rare and unique model:
Giant 18th century, possibly former, bronze candle holder for 5 candles.
Purchased in a private palace in Yemen in the 1980s, possibly originating from India, given the design and the old Dhow trade routes with India.
This candlestick is partially removable (stand and upper candle holder) and the four candle holders can be hooked into different places as desired.
The bottom of the foot is heavily patinated.
It is not perfect: has a curvature in the stand and one of the rotatable flower ornaments lacks a petal.
Height: 79 cm.
