Auguste Mouzin.

Beautiful large urn with lid / lidded jar.
Designed in the 30s by the Faience factory of the ceramist Auguste Mouzin in Wasmuël in Wallonia.

This Belgian company was active from 1878 to 1951.
The letters AMC stand for Auguste Mouzin et Cie.
In the company of Mouzin many ornamental objects were made in Art Deco style.

Beautiful impressive ceramic urn or lidded jar with beautiful abstract Art Deco motif.
Ca. 1930

Completely glazed, with warm colours of ochre, brown, blue and black on grassy, crackled surface.

Beautiful rare large piece!

Height = 36 cm

Collar diameter = 12 cm

Diameter belly (max.) = 20 cm.

Stand ring diameter = 15 cm

Weight 2210 grams.

Very nice condition, with two enamel chips on the glaze, some enamel is lacking.
However, this is not disturbing.
