Cornelis Reinier (Kees) van Kooten (The Hague, 10 August 1941) is a Dutch cabaret artist and writer.

Van Kooten was best known for his collaboration with his colleague Wim de Bie. With him he formed the duo Van Kooten and De Bie, which for years made television programmes for the VPRO. In addition to television programmes, the duo also made the Bescheurk calendar between 1972 and 1985. Van Kooten wrote several books, both under his own name and under pseudonyms. Pseudonyms used were Koot, Jan Blommers, Hans van Dek, Tj. Hekking, Heer Koot, Harry F. Kriele and Roman Tate.

Steye Raviez (Amsterdam, 28 March 1943 - there, 20 February 2017) was a Dutch photographer. He was especially acknowledged for his portraits of the writer Gerard Reve. He began his career in 1965 as a designer for the Haagse Post, but gradually stepped over to photography. In 1985 he switched to Vrij Nederland, for which he worked until 2001.

His specialty was portrait photography. Gerard Reve even called him his "court photographer". Composer Joop Schafthuizen included some of Raviez's photographs in Album Gerard Reve (1983), and later he collected his portraits of Reve himself in Raviez' Reve (2001).
