Description
napkin holder (1) - Glass (stained glass), Silverplate
France - Early 19th century

Unique napkin ring made on commission in France for a noble Italian countess (gold initials, as per photo “S.S.”; I will report to the buyer the name, surname and family with photographic documentation). The item is covered with a loom-woven fabric with beads that form the phrase ‘bon appetit’, the beads of the words ‘bon appetit’ are made of gold and the other stones are precious hard stones. The item is a masterpiece of the French textile art, it has some signs of ageing but overall it is a rare and wonderful object, for a princess! Worldwide tracked shipping.
