Antique Christofle cutlery set created in 1897, this model owes its name to the Château de Marly, built near Paris by Louis XIV as leisure royal residence. The château is no more.
The Marly model is one of the most elaborate of the collection. The exquisite asymmetrical plant motifs chasing each other, typical of Rocaille or Louis XV style, show the silversmith’s competence and attention to detail. Antique Christofle cutlery service. Set for 12 people, consisting of 37 silver tone cutlery pieces.
