Kirman Lavar Imperial rug, extra fine, very soft.

Kerman/Kirman Laver/Lavar antique carpets were knotted in the late 1800s and early 1900s in the Iranian city of Kerman. They usually feature very delicate colours, and the wool used is very soft and high quality. Now hard to find, these carpets of rare beauty represent an excellent investment.
This carpet features a particular design with animals; it is in good condition as shown in the photos.

Dimensions: 550 x 395 cm.
Materials: hand-knotted with wool and extra fine cotton.
Era: circa 1910.
