Description
Tea caddy - Regency - Mahogany, brass lion's foot - First half 19th century
England

Ancient Georgian sarcophagus in rare mahogany wood, used for tea

This superb wooden tea box, antique Georgian sarcophagus, with brass lion feet, is in good condition, it needs restoration (missing the lock and the silk inner fabric is original with stains), but still remains beautiful!

I think it would be a great addition to any table, tea box collection.
