Very rare(complet)Animals first japanesse pressing from 1977
Animals is the tenth regular album of the English band Pink Floyd. It was recorded at Britannia Row Studios in London and released on January 23,77.
Roger Waters, bassist and main songwriter of Pink Floyd, divides people into three classes on this socially critical album, each forming an animal analogy (compare George Orwell's Animal Farm)
The dogs are the capitalist oriented people who are only interested in money,do not care about their fellow human beings and even go for corpses for profit.
The pigs are for Waters the"moral apostles"who preach to people every day how to behave properly. But these people would make the most mistakes and behave in a particularly immoral way.
To the sheep finally belongs the broad masses, which can be exploited by the dogs, do not question things, but let themselves be guided by others. The sheep have no opinion of their own and just want to have their peace.
Every genre is dedicated to one piece. The three tracks are embedded in the short intro and Extro Pigs on the Wing.
