Alexandre Kéléty is an Hungarian native artist, active from 1918 until his death in 1940.
At the end of WWI, he emigrated to France, where he became a pupil of the Hungarian painter and engraver Imre Karoly Simay in Toulouse. He then studied in Paris. In his work, he often depicts animals as well as the theme of childhood. He also produces chryselephantine busts and statuettes depicting dancers and mythological figures in the Art Deco style. His favourite materials are bronze, ivory, marble and ceramics.
