Beautiful case of silver-plated metal cutlery hallmarked with the initials ‘D M’ + Fir hallmark.
Case containing 12 forks and 12 spoons, each weighing 84 g of sterling silver.
The ‘DM’ hallmark stands for Madeleine Decerisières, widow of goldsmith Pierre Renoust, originally from Thouars, approximately from the late 18th century. After her husband's death, Mrs. Decerisières had the rights to take over the goldsmithery.

Size: 25 x 24 x 6 cm.

Set in very beautiful condition, both cutlery and box.
