A pristine cheese cover after a design by Bořek Šípek,
Description: the piece consists of a porcelain plateau, which can be used as a serving dish, and a glass bell jar, which can be used as a bowl when turned upside down.
The under platter is made of white porcelain.
The bell jar is made of glass with a green glass flower-shaped knob.
It is one of the year pieces that Bořek Šípek made in a limited edition, commissioned by DSM.
Size: length/width 23 cm, height 14 cm.
Excellent condition.
Bořek Šípek is a prominent Czech architect and designer,
known for his individual, unusual, colourful, baroque and lavish style.
This bell jar/bowl was issued in a limited edition for DSM, circa 2000, the Netherlands.
