Beautiful item from the Art Deco period. An octagonal cast vide poche. The background has a hammer stroke effect and is therefore matt, the stylised marabou is polished and "three-dimensional".
A small and rare object.
An object like this is also called "Vide Poche" which means "emptying bags". You would do that in the evening. Small objects from the pockets, such as rings etc, were put in the dish.
Width 9.5 cm, length 9.5 cm. Weight approx. 200 grams.
We always ship items promptly after the auction has ended, well packed and by registered mail.
