Beautiful landscape by the French artist Leon Boudot (Besançon 1851 - 1930).
It was painted in september 1926 at Port Lesney in the Jura, in the east of France. The soft sunlight of autumn is beautifully displayed.
The painter Leon Boudot was the pupil of Louis French and Gustave Courbet. Present at the Salon from 1877 to 1924, he participated in the Universal Exhibitions of 1899 and 1900. His works are in the museums of Besançon, Nancy, Reims, Nîmes, Cannes and Gray. And his work is in public and private American collections (sources P. Cabanne-G. Schurr). He paint nature with realism.
In very good original condition; recently cleaned.
It comes from a private collection and will be packed carefully and shipped by registered mail.
