A very fine Russian icon with the presentation of "mother of God, Joy of All Who Sorrow".
Around the Mother of God you can see the sick, injured and needy, accompanied by an angel. An image of Christ Pantocrator is above her head and on the two sides of the icon there are two angels.
Originally there was an icon with this representation that was hung in the 17th century in the Ordinka Church in Moscow. Since the October revolution this icon has disappeared.
Orthodox texts can be seen on the back of the icon. The figures of the icon were painted on a poliment silver plate base.
