Nicolas billiards are among the great classics of traditional French toys. Indeed, created in 1894, it quickly became one of the most popular games in France.
It is still found in some well-known estaminets and cafes in the North.
The Nicolas 4-player billiard table is made entirely of solid wood for the frame and plywood for the top. All the parts that make up Nicolas billiards are assembled by hand in a traditional way. The colour and polishing are done the old-fashioned way for an undeniably authentic look. The abacus used as point counters are also made of wood since they are made of boxwood beads from the Jura region.
Only the tray, heavily worn, 72 cm in diameter, 4 kg.
