A lovely work of printing, this includes 14 poems on marriage: nine by the Dutch humanist Caspar Barlaeus, one by Jacob Cats and four by Cornelius Boyus. Also includes Jacob Lydius's 'Sermonum convivalium libri duo', a dialogue on the marriage and divorce customs of various peoples, has for interlocutors Archaeologus, Bibliacus, Polytropus and Philistor.
