Jiri Suhajek is a renowned Czech Glass artist who, amongst others, has worked for Moser-Karlovy Vary, Venini and also in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He has already been awarded six times for the best design of the year by the Institute for Industrial Design Prague and the Czech Design Centre.

From the end of 1960s he specialises his design to rounded flowing organic structures with mostly feminine forms. This clear glass Sommerso vase has a fluently enclosed polychrome element that is known in different shapes and colourways in this design.

The vase has some blown air bubbles and according to the age of the vase and minimal traces of use, especially concentrated on the underside of the standing area.
