For offer, a 4-piece silver plated tea set, made by 'William Suckling Ltd', of Birmingham, England circa 1900, together with a pie-crust tray.

Registered design number of: 640380 (1900-1901).

Model number: 3230.

This was made to be retailed by 'Cooke & Kelvey' of Calcutta.

Founded in Calcutta in 1857 by Robert Thomas Cooke and Charles Kelvey, later also with a London outlet at 150 Leadenhall St. The Calcutta shop became one of the finest establishments in India, selling top quality London and Paris made watches, clocks, silverware, etc.
