Extremely expressive horse, standing still on a rectangular plinth.
He seems ready to move, his prominent muscles conveying a feeling of contained energy.
The very expressive head is slightly turned to the right, the eyes are in black polychromy , the jaws well designed, and the forehead displays a fold aligned with the axis of the mane that ends surrounding the ears, indicating a parade horse.
He has remarkably short pasterns, auguring elastic gaits.
The stylized mane seems to be braided all along the neck. The tail is also braided, held with a twist tie.
The saddle and the saddle pad are removable, which is very seldom seen. The sculpture is made of grey terracotta, covered with beige slip with orange highlights.
