Russian copper machining master - Candlestick (2) - Historicism - Copper

Description
Russian copper machining master - Candlestick (2) - Historicism - Copper
Russia - Late 18th century

Two historic Russian candlesticks!
It shows a crowned two-headed eagle,
whose lower legs have a sword,
  or crush them!
The two-headed eagle was used by many ruling symbols.
The Emperor Franz Joseph used this motif among others!
But it didn't look like that.
I read it after this Russian symbol emblem!
From the wear of the material,
  and judging by its oxidation,
  two, three hundred years old!
Copper is so oxidized that you can barely see red,
I tried to fix it but it's so colored,
that it is no longer possible with everyday methods,
make it shiny and red again!
Anyway, it looks like pure handiwork,
hand carving, engraving!
