This is a stunning George lll Cast Silver Candlesticks with a detachable sconce above a baluster stem and hexagonal base, decorated in relief with scallop shells and gadrooned rims, London 1758, John Perry.

John Perry was a silversmith based in London who specialised in candlesticks.

The antique sterling silver candlestick is made of cast silver. The best investment is cast silver. It is common for the hallmarks on cast silver candlesticks to be stamped on the rough silver underneath, such as shown on this candlestick.

This delicate Georgian cast candlesticks is onze of a kind and a beautiful examples of John Perry’s work.
