Very good - 1935

ALCOSO panther head sabre for officers of the German Wehrmacht

Gold-plated pommel with inserted red eyes and imperial eagle with stretched wings on the parry bar cloth, black bakelite handle with orig. wire winding, nickel-plated, slightly curved blade marketed Alcoso Solingen, black iron sheath with a movable ring.

The sabre has not been cleaned or restored.
The gold-plating is worn on the raised areas.
The portepee is torn off and only a remnant of the lacing is present.
The nickel plating of the blade is in excellent condition.
The blade is straight, not bent or curved.
The wire winding is undamaged and solid.
The scabbard has no dents, the paint is still more than 95% present.
