In good condition, a very unique 3D folded metal sculpture by the Dutch sculptor Henk van Bennekum, which is unique.

Has some spots, tiny dents and oxidation / rust formation. At the bottom is his name, the title, and the notation that this was a model for the larger image in the sculpture garden in Rhoon, see the newspaper article.

With this work of art you also get two books mentioning this artwork.
This sculpture is the small model of the large one which measures H 250 x W 250 x D 75 cm.

It stood in the sculpture garden in Rhoon (1985), later in sculptures-park "Drechtoevers" Zwijndrecht (1996), and now purchased by the municipality of Gorinchem, it stands "Outside the Watergate" (2013), the 3rd location, but now permanently, see the 2nd photo.

Dimensions: Height 50 cm x width 50 cm x depth 15 cm.
Material: Folded metal.

Background information:
Hendrik P.C. (Henk) van Bennekum (Giessendam, 14 July 1946) is a Dutch sculptor, wall painter, and ceramist. Van Bennekum was employed as a teacher of design in Schoonhoven and as an artist he makes geometric-abstract and constructivist work for public spaces in Gorinchem and in many cities in the Netherlands. He lives and works in Hardinxveld-Giessendam and Malleray, France. Source: Wikipedia
