Lithograph - Ito Shinsui (1898–1972) - "Number 6 - Hanging a Mosquito Net" from the series "100 Figures of Beauties Wearing Takasago Kimonos" - 1931

The image is printed on washi paper (with the characteristic vertical lines), and without a thorough inspection it is hard to see that this is not a woodblock print.

Comment: The "Bijin" is wearing a Takasago-dyed kimono. Takasago fabric dying is a process which was developed in Japan in the 1600s.
