Flintlock Travelling or Muff French " Louis XVI " pistol, last quarter of XVIII century ( 1770/1780)..Also known by French " Pistolet de Manteau". Steel half eightfold, half round barrel , smooth bore , plain steel garrisons ( one or other screw substituted) . Walnut Stock ( small restorations in the foreend of stock) . lock working in both positions.Good flint spark . wooden rod brass cap ( not original) . No proof marks . beautiful shinning patina.Good general condition.

Signs of use appropriate to the age and face lifts.
