A lovely heavy solid 14k yellow gold Omega mens automatic wristwatch with hammer principle, dating from 1947.
Case in excellent condition, measuring 32,5mm excluding the crown and hallmarked twice for 14k gold and twice for Wadsworth (between the lugs and also on the inside backlid) Furthermore, case, movement and dial signed with Omega logo and correct numbers. All matching.
Minimal wear to the case. Only slight scratches from age, that could ealisy be removed, but we left them to keep the watch as original as possible.
Crown is not signed, but looks original.
Lovely original creme dial with gold markers and hands. It is in original, non-restored condition. It has a light patina, as showed in the photo's.
Crosshair subseconds dial at 6.
Watch is equipped with the caliber 342 automatic movement with bumper principle. Movement numbered for 1947, and in good condition.
Watch comes on a black leather strap with the original Omega gold plated buckle. Length of the strap is 22,5cm. The strap has wear and replacing it would be best.
A beautiful solid 14k gold vintage Omega. A jewel and great investment in a watch from this well-known Swiss brand.
