1st half 20th century - Fair condition, used with visible signs of wear

Mask collected during the middle of the 20th century in Ivory Coast, it represents the typical characteristics of a Guere mask, that is, tubular eyes, a bulging forehed, a mouth detaching from the face, ornamented with 6 horns. Masks worn for funerary ceremonies have as aim to designate culprits.
This piece presents certain features which make it different from other Guere masks.
