Set of 3 travelling scent bottles that belonged to the Russian painter Alexandre IACOVLEFF (1887-1938).

Form square, crystal, decoration of wide gadroons and engraved with horizontal bands. Silver metal mount, topped with a cap in engraved ivory with the monogram in Chinese characters of the painter.
Models of different size: 15 to 18 cm - Length: 7.5 to 8.5 cm

Around 1919.
Large model in perfect condition. The other two have small flaws at the level of the caps (see photos) and a missing part on the top edge.

Bottles made for the artist during his trip to Japan. He took them with him when on the yellow cruise who crossed Asia, from Lebanon to China.
