Description
Taperstick - .925 silver - Jakob Grimminger - Germany - First half 20th century
Excellent condition - barely used with minimal signs of aging & wear - 139 g

Elegant solid silver table candleholder with no stains or dents. It bears several hallmarks, barely visible in the photos. The first in the shape of a crown preceded by a horizontal bar (or a capital I) followed by the indication 925, which indicates the silver grade, and then a star hallmark with the letter G. After this set of hallmarks, there is also the word “Sterling”, which authenticates both the quality of the silver and the provenance of the item.
Careful construction and understated design, classic style that will match all kinds of decorations and can even fit inside a candle jar or crystal bowl to decorate a table with class.
