A very rare pilgrimage vane from Mechelen from 1738. A annual celebration was held in Mechelen on 3 May. Pope Alexander VII dispensed a full indulgence in 1650 to the participants of the procession.

Some brotherhoods published their own pilgrimage vanes. These vanes usually belong to brotherhoods which are part of a pilgrimage site. The brotherhood offered the pennants for sale to the pilgrims fro additional income.
