A beautiful piece of chess history from around 1930. These chess pieces originate from Vietnam and are made of horn. The chessboard is beautiful and crafted from mother of pearl, a speciality from Vietnam.

The chess pieces are in the style of Régence. These Regence chess pieces were popular from the late 18th century to the early 20th century, until the Staunton chess pieces were becoming the standard pieces. This is therefore one of the later variants.

The chess set is complete and all chess pieces are in original condition. Two chess pieces have very minor signs of wear, see the last picture. The chessboard only shows only minor signs of wear and is in good condition. The chessboard can be folded and the pieces can be stored safely.

Height king: 7.2 cm. Dimensions chessboard: 38 cm x 38 cm x 3 cm. Total weight: 2.2 kg.

The entire lot will be securely packaged and shipped by registered mail.
