Unusual collectors' watch with 22 ct gold outer casing - floral garlands in gold (green) on the sides.
Watch of exceptional quality and condition. Small solid casing with a high-quality look. On the back is undamaged enamel painting with diamond sliver inlay in the hatband - as earring or on the décolleté of the girl. Depiction of a young girl in the form of a portrait. Wonderful stone finish as the frame of the enamel. The front likewise has a stone wreath (a few missing)
Inner casing 22 ct gold.
Elegant enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic 10s minute scale (so-called) - original barque hands with stone trim. Signed Abraham Colomby

Fire-gilded movement marked Abraham Colomby 0049 - verge escapement above the fusee and chain - functioning - production around 1785. Very fine movement design. Wonderful design of the plate. Beautiful angular hands.
Fine verge cocks with swirling finish in the shape of a hat and with a floral middle point. Ruby bearings. Disc for speed regulation in silver.
Watch diameter 36 mm - height 25 mm - total length with pedant 52 mm - 69 g heavy.
