Description
Large fire-plated glass pendulum with little angels - Bronze, Glass - 19th century
Mechanical - 8 day movement - half hour, one bell

Wonderful empire mantel clock with two angels on both sides of the mantel clock. The whole is in very good condition with beautiful gilt on the bronze.

The whole is made of thick bronze and features very beautifully dated finishes.

The mantel clock has thick cut glass on the front and sides. The enamel dial is in very beautiful and neat condition.

The whole still has its original gold glow, which creates a wonderful effect under candlelight. (In earlier times there only used to be candlelight, and the mantel clock would create some extra light in the dark.)

The movement is marked: Buzzo & Governorc Angers. The whole runs and strikes neatly on time.
The mantel clock comes with pendulum and key. (Heavy sun pendulum.)
