The painter Hermanus Charles Christiaan Bogman was both a house painter and a painter. He first lived and worked in his birthplace The Hague, after which he stayed in Loosduinen from 1899 to 1903. After that he settled again in The Hague, where he also died in 1921.
Bogman was primarily known as a cattle painter!
