Oak beer keg, restored, to be rebuilt as a table - Glass, Wood- Oak

Description
Oak beer keg, restored, to be rebuilt as a table - Glass, Wood- Oak
Germany - 1975-2000

On offer:

Superb high table
Approx. 100 year old oak barrel, content 57 l, perfectly restored and can be converted as a table with glass top.
The barrel, made of solid oak wood approximately 100 years ago, impressively reflects the ‘cooper’ art of the time.
On the bottom of the barrel, the inscription " Municipal Brewery Clausthal 1348” is burned in.
The oak body contains a ‘secret compartment’.
It has probably stood for years in the Cassino of the Bundeswehr, which is borne out by the handmade and oil-painted emblem “3. Kompanie Uffz. Krops”.
The oak barrel can be transformed as a table by adding a heavy glass top. Diameter - 103 cm (not part of the offer).
