Paul Robert (1955-) - 'Parisian ants', 2019
Digital print - Artist's stamp, Signed - 7/30 - 2019

Paris, La Defense, 8.30 in the morning. On the subway, and walking around here, I cannot shake off Dave Matthews' song 'Ants Marching' about rush hour traffic. Then, standing in front of the Grand Arche, the song comes to life when this perfect little line of office workers climbs the terrace in order to be gobbled up by the city's most impressive office building. Like ants following a sugar trail.
