CONTEMPORARY BLIND STAMPED BINDING OVER WOODEN BOARDS stained and partially detached / with some loss in the rear board (see pics). Clips absent. Blue edges. Marginal tear in the lower left corner of the frontispiece. Slight waterstain in the first leaves. Slight waterstain in the lower margin of the last leaves. Paper sometimes a little bit browned. Insignificant small and faded stain at p. Gg2 and Pp2. In general, A VERY GOOD EXEMPLAR.

VERY RARE WORK DEALING WITH ASTRONOMY, COSMOGRAPHY, ASTROLOGY, MATHEMATICS very hard to find in the market. The book was written by SZENTIVANY Marton (Szentiván, 20th October 1633 - Trnava, 5th March 1705), Jesuit scholar, polyhistor, university professor. The "Decas secunda" will be printed two years later.
