2016 Chateau Changyu - Moser XV - Italian Riesling by Lenz Moser - Ningxia - 18 Bottles (0.75L)

Description
2016 Chateau Changyu - Moser XV - Italian Riesling by Lenz Moser - Ningxia - 18 Bottles (0.75L)
White wine - China

Great Riesling wine made in cooperation with the famous Austrian winemaker Lenz Moser

independant blogger:

Reading the label, I thought it was of Riesling grapes from Italian canes imported into China, but it turned out to be a completely different grape variety: the graševina, or Weissriesling. Alcohol 13%, no wood. Sparkling gold-yellow, slightly delicate. Expressive in the nose, fresh, floral, tropical fruit, honey, black and white. In the mouth a small fruity sweet but still dry, nice acids, slightly bitter, slightly salty, slightly alcoholic. Slightly green in taste, lime, sunflower oil, nutty. Good to combine with white fish, crustaceans and shellfish.

Personal note: give it 20 minutes opened to reduce the acid a bit and create space for other tones
