World war II Japanse / Dutch Heiho klewang with leather scabbard and brass parts, complete clear makers mark Hembrug and acceptance stamp Z with crown, all in good condition. The scabbard is marked: 1- 40 . During world war II Dutch klewangs were converted to this model, shortened and makers marks removed but in this case both scabbard and ricasso markings are clearly visable. The leather stitching on the scabbard is closed.This short sword was issued to the Heiho division,consist of indonesians to fight against allied and native troops.
