Ambassador - Fountain pen - 1

Description
Ambassador - Fountain pen - 1
U.S. - 1930-1939 - Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes

Alb:1553

Beautiful and restored Ambassador fountain pen with lever filling.

Manufactured by AJ Harris in New York City, probably in the 1930s.

The material of the pen is a marbled grey celluloid.

The clip is engraved with the brand and it reads "Ambassador" and the filling lever has a stylized "A" on a ridge. Both the clip and the lever are gold plated.
The nib is "Warranted" in 14-carat gold, Nº 4. A very nice medium oblique nib. The tip is moderately flexible when slight pressure is applied. There are no cracks, wrinkles or other defects on the tip.

In general, the pen is in good condition, its exterior was polished and it has no cracks, chips nor any other damage. The filling lever works well.
The filler sac was replaced by a new sac and the pen is clean, ready to be filled and to write.
