Very large Manuscript hand-written Torah Bible Scroll leaf from the book of Exodus hand written on genuine calf parchment. The sofer (or scribe) follows the Early Ashkenazi tradition and comply with rules and laws of the Ashkenazi Vellish "Kabbalah" script. It preserves extremely early scribal Ashkenazi traditions and preserves interesting textual anomalies characteristic predominantly of early scribal traditions, which was prevalent in Northern France Germany & Poland.
The scroll came from Germany with other Judaic items and is approximately 350 years old. The present Scroll, has the ancient scribal tradition of the Vellish Script and is a witness to of the Jewish German tradition and various customs, concerning its letters and as a whole, the writing of a Torah.
