A finely sculpted and painted biscuit porcelain figure of Saint Gerardus with a child at his feet, asking for him to bless the bread. Gerard Majella was a pious young man who was said to have performed miracles. In 1904 he was canonized by the Catholic church. This statue refers to him as Beatus (beatified), dating the work to earlier than 1904.
Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs.
