A stunning English antique pen wipe in the form of a boars head.
The wipe also has a paper holder. Press the back and the boars mouth opens to clip the papers.
The bristles are intact and strong.
Ruby red glass eyes.
I think this is brass but it could be bronze.
Inscribed underneath Published by Messenger FE 5th 1850.
Measuring 5.5cm high base to the top of the bristles x 12.5cm wide x 2.75cm deep.
